End Distracted Driving in Baldwin County Dinner
Distracted Driving is the single largest cause of automobile accidents and fatalities in the nation. Take the pledge and save a life. The Loxley Civic Center is the site of a Baldwin County wide event to make a difference in the lives of young people.
Join our Law Enforcement Community, and our Optimist club’s in Baldwin County as we seek to build a coalition to support making our roads safer. Baldwin County Sheriff Hoss Mack, District Attorney Bob Wilters and Coroner Dr. Brian Pierce will share their view of Distracted Driving.
The students of Foley High School produced an impressive video featuring what can happen when someone drives distracted and we will share it. The final speaker will be Mr. and Mrs. Buemi, whose daughter Caitlin died as a result of a distracted driver. The event is scheduled to run between 6 and 9 p.m. with dinner included.
